Satay Kebabs
A recipe From the Ambassador’s Table - Blueprints for Creative Entertaining
Having lived in the Middle East and Asia my husband, Larry, and I have been well exposed to kebabs and satay. From my experience, both these terms translate as almost anything seasoned and threaded on skewers, grilled and served with a tasty sauce. I have created a Nutty Sour Cream Asian Dipping Sauce using only enough peanut/cashew butter to offer a discrete nutty flavour and texture. However, a wide variety of dips would be delicious. Of course, the recipe may be adapted to serve as a main course dish, especially appropriate for barbecues.
